We like our poets and historical figures the most. We use their names to call our streets and squares.
- Petőfi Sándor – poet and liberal revolutionary,
- Kossuth Lajos – Hungarian lawyer, journalist, politician and Regent-President of the Kingdom of Hungary during the revolution of 1848–49.
- Ady Endre – poet in XXth century and journalist.
- Dózsa György – was a Székely man-at-arms who led a peasants’ revolt against the kingdom’s landed nobility
- II. Rákóczi Ferenc – was a Hungarian nobleman and leader of the Hungarian uprising against the Habsburgs in 1703-11 as the prince (fejedelem) of the Estates Confederated for Liberty of the Kingdom of Hungary.
